Lake observations: The lake level is slightly below average. There were partly cloudy conditions with the wind out of the SSW at 10 – 15 mph. There were ducks and turtles in the area. I am using some test strips to look at nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate levels in the lake water. This isn’t terribly accurate, but I hope this will indicate what is coming into the lake from runoff. Time will tell.
Nitrate: 0.5 ppm
Nitrite: 0.15 ppm
Phosphate: between 0 and 5 ppm
