Tonight's Annual Meeting Cancelled

NOTICE: The Annual Meeting is being cancelled tonight due to legal requirements regarding proper notification prior to a meeting being held. 

When weather conditions caused the Board to postpone the Annual Meeting from January 9, another official written notice should have been mailed out notifying members of the new meeting date. Our ILA Bylaws Article XIII, Section 4, require that “Written notice of the place and time be delivered not less than (10) days nor more than (60) days before the day of the meeting, either personally or by mail to each member entitled to vote." Since the meeting was scheduled only 7 days from the original date, and the 10 day notice was not given, the Board is cancelling this meeting and will send proper notice by U.S. mail to all members once another meeting date is scheduled, to be in full compliance with our Bylaws and State law. You will also see this notification on the Facebook page and the ILA official website once a date is scheduled.
